Stylish places you must visit in Paris • France

Betty

The city of lights never disappoints. Every time I am traveling to Paris, the city reveals to me new spots, cafes, restaurants and bars that I get in love with. It is this magical, Parisian atmosphere, that you start missing right at the moment when you put your feet on the plane home. So let me introduce you to some  of my favorite stylish places you must visit in Paris:

Hotel Amour

Hotel Amour (8 Rue de Navarin) – it is a hotel located in the red light district and every room has it’s own, unique decor. The hotel have an inner patio full of plants what makes it look a bit like a little jungle. Super cool chill out place where you can easily spend hours while having a breakfast, brunch or just sipping your rose wine. The food is great and the famous french croque monsieur is my absolutely favorite in the Paris. If you have never tried it – it’s baked or fried ham and cheese sandwich, and when its also topped with a fried egg it’s called croque madame. Deliciousnesses! The restaurant is open for non hotel guests and no reservation is needed but it may be really full around lunch time.

Cafe Francoeur

Cafe Francoeur  (129 Rue Caulaincourt) – my Parisian hidden gem. I found it when I was in Paris a few years ago and since then, It’s always my obligatory spot to visit. Perfect for any meal: breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are many tasty options in the menu for meat lovers, but also vegetarians will find there something delicious. Rich wine list and super nice service. Even if they don’t speak English, they are trying really hard to understand you. The outside part of the restaurant is a perfect spot to just seat and observe Parisians. Being honest with you, it’s my favorite activity.

Hotel Costes

Hotel Costes  (239-241 Rue Saint-Honore) Another of my personal most stylish places and one of the most beautiful interiors I’ve ever seen. Although it is a hotel, the restaurant and the bar are open also for non-hotel guests. The hotel itself is also famous from chill out music soundtracks that you may be familiar with. Once you enter this place you are surrounded with this relaxing music, beautiful perfume smell, sensual lighting and a kind of erotic vibe. Not sure if I’m the only one with this impression but the hotel interior always makes me feel like I’m in one of the David Lynch’s movies. On the top of this you have delicious food and selection of best french wines. The only disadvantage is that this place is really pricy, so don’t get a heart attack when you will see that the glass of wine costs 15 euro. The average cost of a dinner per person including wine is around 100 euro.

Le Cube Rooftop Bar

Le Cube Rooftop Bar (40 Boulevard Haussmann, Galeries Lafayette) – Actually, I found this place by accident while making shopping in  Galeries Lafayette. I’t located on the top floor and has absolutely spectacular city and Eifel Tower view. This 180 degree view bar offers not only the chance of admiring Paris from the top, but also super nice service and good selection of wines. Just mind the opening hours as the bar is open from 11am to 7.30pm from Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays.

Cafe de Flore

Cafe de Flore (172 Boulevard Saint-Germain) – One of the most famous and the oldest cafes in Paris opened in the 1880s. And in my opinion also one of the most stylish ones. It used to be a popular meeting point of famous writers, philosophers and painters ( like Pablo Picasso!). Although it became a bit touristic over last years, it’s still attended by locals and always on my must-go list. The perfect french breakfast and delicious onion soup are my favorite positions in the menu. Also very good wine and really welcoming service dressed in stylish uniforms.

Picnic by the Eiffel Tower

Picnic by the Eiffel Tower – and last but not lest – the Eiffel Tower. I’m not saying you will not meet other tourists there, but what you will get is chill out atmosphere and probably the most affordable restaurant in Paris – your own blanket. So if the weather is nice I highly recommend you to organize something to seat on (we simply packed in our suitcase a small blanket but you can also borrow one from your hotel) and make some shopping on the way to the tower. There is really good Carrefour in the nearby where you can get some fresh baguettes, fruits, wine etc. As me and my husband are pro picnickers we also had our own wine glasses ;-) Isn’t it the most stylish place for a dinner in Paris?

Have a magical visit in this magical city of love!
