Are you team “All Black Everything”, or rather “All White Everything”? I am definitely the second one. My wardrobe is full of white clothes that I am wearing constantly, not only during summer time. White sweaters, white denims, white boots – I love to wear bright pieces all year round. Especially now, when our winter in Poland is… hmmm… rather grey than white, putting it in words nicely.
As white clothes are for many a natural choice in summer, in winter time it’s a less obvious option and we do not see much of it on the streets. But fortunately, in recent years white became a new winter classic, especially in its warmer and slightly softer nuances that we generally include under the concept of “winter white”.
For the chic look keep your white outfit as effortless as only possible. Just have a look how these girls are rocking white pieces here, here and here. For an ultra chic option you can play with different textures, fabrics and materials. Try woven mesh, silk, organza or leather that, mixed all together, will always look really cool.
In my All White Everything outfit I have combined different white pieces, different white “shades” and contrasting fabrics. An oversized, 100% wool sweater looks really chic with a silky skirt in off white colour. My white leather boots are 2 years old and I wear them really often, especially with white denims, for the more casual look.
What do you think? Would you wear white in winter too?
With love,
Betty
